  Fuzzy Matching in Lookup

  - Lookup can now match on similarity, not just exact or normalized keys
  - Domains: person names (nicknames, initials, word order, accents, sounds-alike), codes / part numbers
   (ignores separators, case and leading zeros), and generic text
  - Conservative / Standard / Broad tiers, plus toggles for typos, sounds alike, nicknames, initials,
   word order and missing words
  - Corroborating columns can promote or demote a candidate
  - Expected-overlap control; exact matches always win over fuzzy ones
  - Name columns are now detected automatically from the header and values
  - Fuzzy settings are saved in .summer documents

  Computed & Lookup Columns

  - Formula results get real types — IF/ELSE over two Integer columns stays Integer, not Text
  - Changing a computed column's type re-evaluates the formula instead of blanking cells
  - Computed and lookup columns can be used as lookup keys, and Raw export writes their values
  - Recompute is dependency-ordered and incremental: an edit only re-runs columns that depend on it
  - F9 recomputes all computed and lookup columns in order
  - Duplicate a Lookup (⌘⌃L) — same table, keys and settings with a new source
  - ⌘L in the Lookup panel fills whichever side is empty from the selection
  - New function: TITLE(text) — AP-style title case (PROPER stays Excel-compatible)
  - TEXT(x) format argument is now optional
  - GROUP_COUNT() with no grouping returns the row count
  - Computed text columns become Long Text automatically when values are long
  - Empty placeholder formula columns are removed when the Compute panel closes

  Export & Copy

  - Export panel reworked: Rows / Columns / Values / Format segments, all options visible, per-format defaults
  - Formats: Table, CSV, SQL, Markdown
  - SQL: CTE or typed temp table (sized varchar, int/bigint, numeric(p,s), date, timestamp, boolean)
  - SQL dialects: Postgres, MySQL, SQLite — app setting with per-export override
  - SQL header comment with column/row counts, export date and table name; error cells export as NULL
  - Header modes: Display, Raw, Slug, None
  - Padded (aligned) output, line terminator and quoting options
  - Money exports in the currency shown, with currency inline, as a column, or omitted
  - Percent as "12.35%" or 0.1235; "Export Places" setting for decimal places

  Type Inference

  - Headers now inform types: phone, amount/price/total/salary, year, grade/level, month/day, …number/code
  - A column that's ≥90% one type keeps that type; stray values show as errors instead of demoting it
  - New Region type (US states + Canadian provinces); bare "$" resolved through a Country column
  - Excel serial dates — ⌃⇧3 converts, and date-named integer columns are detected
  - Two-digit years follow Excel's 1930 pivot; "8/1/26" is no longer year 26
  - Fixed: on/off booleans showing ERR, +1 phone numbers parsed as integers, 10-digit phones becoming dates,
   currency amounts converted twice
  - Title/comment rows above the header are skipped; Use Selected Row as Header (row gutter right-click)
  - Column Types by Name rules in View Settings › Advanced
  - ⌃5 Percentage ⇄ Decimal, ⌃6 Text sub-types, ⌃9 re-infer from all values
  - Phone display modes: US, international, E.164
  - Long Text threshold is configurable (default 100 characters)
  - Year columns display without a thousands separator

  Date & Time

  - New date styles: "September 26, 2026" and "Saturday, September 26, 2026"
  - Time style setting (default 2:05 PM) applies to Time and Date & Time columns
  - ⌃, cycles formats on Time and Date & Time columns
  - "Unspecified TZ as UTC" setting for date-times without a timezone
  - Date-times line up in the grid and no longer truncate

  Charts

  - Geo heat maps for US states, Canadian provinces, mixed US/CA and countries
  - Trend chart: hover shows value and change; click filters to that period; follows the Total-row aggregate
  - Boolean columns get a True / False / Other bar and % True breakdowns
  - Column panel charts follow the All / Filtered / Selected tab
  - Histogram and frequency rows: hover, click to filter, ⌘-click multi-select, dimming of filtered-out values
  - Distribution lists in Overview and Column panels support the same click / ⌘-click / ⇧-click actions
  - Donut "Other" slice is grey

  Grouping & Filtering

  - Group Summary (⌘⌃G): copy the visible group summary rows into a new table
  - Hovering a group header shows the group's row count
  - Invert Filter (⌃I, or ⌥-click Filter) shows the rows the filter hides
  - Much faster "in set" value picker on large columns
  - Clipboard filter maps onto selected columns, in selection order
  - ⌘F toggles between Find and the selected column's criteria field
  - "Show All" renamed "Show All - Clear Filters"

  Bookmarks

  - Highlight several categories at once (⌘/⇧-click), or All Categories
  - Live pin: the active category's flagged columns stay pinned while highlighted
  - Bold Colors for a stronger bookmark tint
  - Settings: Show All Categories, Columns Live Pin, Bold Colors, Flag Also Pins

  Columns

  - Copied file paths (Terminal, ls, Finder) open those files instead of importing the text
